The Yoga of Relationships
with Yogi Amrit Desai

Monday, February 16, 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Conference Center, Deck 6 Forward

The love that you seek from another must first be found from within yourself. What appears to be coming from the other is a reflection of who you are. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder; so is love. When you are loving; love appears everywhere. When you are judging, the judge appears everywhere.

All our problems seen in relationships outside of our self are a reflection of what lives within us. The secret of love is hidden within you. Everyone seems to be searching for it everywhere except within. The romantic love that you seek from another is unconsciously burdened with silent demands and dependency that diminish your ability to truly give or receive love. Ultimately the relationship you seek with another becomes one of conflict.

We will explore how to use relationships as a powerful medium to dismantle the unconscious self-destructive patterns that ruin your relationship with others. Once you learn the secret of love, communication that is the foundation of the relationship comes naturally. This workshop is designed to empower you to turn the conceptual love relationship of attachment and demand into a transformative relationship. You will learn how to deepen your relationship issues with others by learning how to connect to the source of love from within.

Give what you demand from others- if you seek love be loving.

During this session there will be the experience of Yoga Nidra.

Yoga Nidra is a state of alert awareness and deep total relaxation. In Yoga Nidra techniques are used for you to descend in alpha and theta brain waves. You don't need to try and meditate: meditation happens naturally at these levels. In this state the dormant powers of the subconscious are activated and your prayers, intentions and affirmations become reality. *Bring a yoga mat, towel, or blanket to lie on, as Yoga Nidra is practiced lying down.

From Crisis to Living Consciously
with Yogi Amrit Desai

Friday, February 20, 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Conference Center, Deck 6 Forward

$97 if paid after February 10
To register, please go to https://www.spiritualityproducts.com/secure/Valentines2015SpecialEventsRegister.html.

Setbacks in health, relationships and business appear to be a crisis but can actually be a window for personal growth and transformation. Crisis creates incapacitating reactions and you become the victim of these emotions. Your perception of the event gets distorted and they take you outside your circle of influence. The situation is rarely as damaging as your reaction to it.

Whenever you are in reaction to a situation or person, it appears as though it is coming from them. We rarely recognize that any conflict is but a mirror back to us for what is unresolved in ourselves. Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so problems are in the eye of the perceiver.

All resolution to any of life's challenges or relationships whether in family, love or business life, lies within yourself. Unless you can solve the conflict within yourself you will never be able to solve it outside of yourself. Christ said, "See ye the kingdom of heaven within."

Join us and learn how major conflicts can be turned into major assets. What cannot be solved by 1000 steps can be solved with a one-step technique that will cut the cause of the poisonous roots that create insecurity, fear, dependency and demands from others.

In this session you will be guided through the Amrit method Quantum Breath. Many people tend to believe that meditation is difficult to practice. The Quantum Breath Meditation Technique is so easily adaptable, that there is usually 95% success rate even among beginners. Breath is the bridge that connects our personal life force to the universal life force. Breathing in and out is an automatic biological process. When this same action is done with focus and concentration this same action is one that brings peace, stillness and healing energy to the body.

PUERTO VALLARTA

February 17, 2015
Arrival in Port 10:00 am, Departing 6:00 pm

Puerto Vallarta was sleepy no more; its transformation into an international resort had begun. Then director John Huston chose the village as the location for his film "Night of the Iguana," starring Richard Burton. Today, the city has its own "Gringo Gulch," a haunt of the rich and famous. Travelers are also drawn by its climate, its excellent shopping - which offers great values on leather goods, jewelry, and handicrafts - and mile after mile of palm-lined beaches.

Puerto Vallarta is known for its quaint cobblestone streets, "old world" charm, and thriving nightlife. The walkway along the bay is lined with sculptures, many of which are said to bring good luck to those who touch them. Puerto Vallarta's beaches are known for great swimming and other water sports. But, it's the jungle beach experience that sets Puerto Vallarta apart from other Mexican Riviera resorts.

MAZATLAN

Wednesday, February 18
Arrival in Port 7:00 am, Departing 5:00 pm

Lying just below the Tropic of Cancer, Mazatlan boasts a superb year-round climate. Mazatlan, a name that means "Place of the Deer," sits on a peninsula at the feet of the rugged Sierra Madre, and the Cerro de Neveria - "Ice Box Hill" - divides the area's rocky Pacific beaches from the broad, white-sand beaches beloved by visitors. The climate, the beaches, and the world-class sportfishing have turned this commercial fishing port into one of the world's top resort destinations. Yet while visitors flock to the markets, bathe in the sun, or marvel at the airborne ballet of the famed Papantla dancers, Mazatlan remains one of Mexico's major Pacific ports - the city exports over 40 million pounds of shrimp every year.

Overview:

One of the nearly unknown, secret mystical sites near Mazatlan, the Las Labradas UNESCO World Heritage Archaelogical Site is a fantastically beautiful beach strewn with amazing black rocks, carved with spiritual symbols of an ancient people that inhabited this land long before the Spanish conquered it.

On this site is not just a couple of rocks. There are 640 petroglyphs along 1200 feet of shoreline.

Description:

We invite you to re-live thousands of years of mythological traditions and come to explore one of southern Sinaloa's most enchanting archeological treasures.

Visit the only archeological site near Mazatlan, situated on a stunning beach 45 minutes north of the city. Enjoy a gorgeous drive by bus, and have time for a relaxing lunch. Near the fishing village of Barras de Piaxtla, a fascinating, mythical group of petroglyphs can be found on the beach called "Las Labradas."

The petroglyphs were carved by pre-Columbian ancestors of indigenous Indians that Spanish Conquistadors encountered when they arrived in Sinaloa in 1531. These inspirational artistic expressions are a gateway to the spiritual life of these peoples.

The petroglyphs or rock carvings are the voices of ancient testimonies, of hundreds of years of mythological traditions made by the indigenous peoples of the American continent. They are beautiful abstract and symbolic expressions for the continent's original inhabitants.

The oldest petroglyphs on the site are estimated to be 4500 years old. The site was in use for over 3000 years, and finally abandoned in 1200 A.D., making it some of the oldest art in northwest Mexico.

These petroglyphs are believed to be the way ancient Toltecas communicated with their Gods. They were most likely made during rituals and ceremonies in which priests petitioned their Gods for benefits, such as rain, bountiful harvest, or successful hunt. It is believed these rocks were carved by priests and that they represent their dreams and visions, often enabled by the use of hallucinogenics.

These petroglyphs of Tolteca origin are the remains of the most ancient artistic expressions of Mexico's northwestern territory. Some archeologists state these may have been created 1000 to 4500 years ago.

The petroglyphs are associated with the supernatural. They were an important way to communicate with the Gods, and were carved within a specific context of rituals and ceremonies, in which people asked for rain, a good harvest, a good hunting season, etc.

Come and view thousands-year-old human works that are located in beautiful beach and mountain environs. Las Labradas, of Toltec origin, are the oldest artistic expressions in the north of the country. They were carved with sharp and solid rocks, and it is surprising to see that most of them are in good condition, in spite of being hammered by the sea.

The Toltecs, the ancient settlers of this part of the country, made long hunting trips and were always led by a religious leader, who was the protector of tradition, the artist that maintained the social equilibrium, and the one who carved on rocks what he saw in his dreams and visions, often times spurred by the use of hallucinogenic plants.

Itinerary:

8:30 AM Meeting time (You will receive the meeting place when you receive your ticket)
9:30 AM Departure from pier and Transfer to Las Labradas Beach
10:45 AM Arrive to Las Labradas & guided tour to most important petroglyphs (2 hrs)
1:30 PM Lunch at your own expense

4:00 PM Return to ship

Special Notes:

Wear comfortable shoes for walking on the beach. Bring a hat and adequate sun protection.

CABO SAN LUCAS

Thursday, February 19
Arrival in Port 7:00 am, Departing 2:00 pm

Millennia ago, Cabo San Lucas was part of the Mexican mainland. Then a massive rupture of the San Andreas Fault sent the waters of the Pacific crashing into the newly formed depression, creating the Sea of Cortez and the Baja Peninsula. Lying at the very tip of Baja, where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez, Cabo San Lucas - or "Cabo" - is one of the premier resort destinations in the Western Hemisphere. Swim in the transparent waters, marvel at the wealth of marine life, relax on one of the white-sand beaches or try your hand at some of the finest sportfishing in the world.

This resort town on the southernmost tip of Baja California provides a stunning juxtaposition of sea, desert and mountains. Cabo has grown like the federal budget in the past few decades, with new resorts along the beach called "the corridor," frequented by celebrities from Jessica Simpson to John Mayer.

Aside from enjoying the beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife, water sports, such as snorkeling, scuba diving and parasailing, are popular and plentiful activities. The marlin fishing is legendary, and championship golf courses are noteworthy, as well. Cabo's large dock has several shops and open-air stalls, where merchants sell everything from woven baskets to shell necklaces and coral jewelry. The town itself offers few exciting highlights, other than rocker Sammy Hagar's "Cabo Wabo Cantina," where the mostly American crowd goes wild nightly.

Cabo's signature landmark is El Arco ("The Arch"), a rock formation at the tip of "Land's End," where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. A whale watching excursion is a "must do" when thousands of California gray whales and other species make their annual migration from colder climates.

Note: Your ship will anchor in Cabo San Lucas and use launches (called "tenders"), to transport all passengers ashore.

"WHALE WATCHING BY ZODIAC"

Overview:

During the "whale season" (December - April) nature is our guide as we whale watch in the Pacific Ocean or the Sea of Cortez, depending on where the best whale activity is that day.

Your high-speed zodiac boat will allow you to cover more water and get you to the best locations for sighting whales. Because your boat holds a maximum of 15 passengers, you'll escape the crowds and enjoy a more intimate, more exciting, and more rewarding whale-watching experience.

This winter's calving ground offers an excellent opportunity to view these magnificent mammals and to learn about their migration cycles and behavior. Let the whales entertain you with their playful behavior as they swim through these beautiful waters. You might see whales being born, or get some unbelievable video of males showing off and "playing the love game." Sit back and enjoy the surroundings as your high-speed boat takes you to the best whale sighting locations in Cabo San Lucas.

Full Description:

From the pier, board your Zodiac whale-watching vessel and set off in search of the gray, humpback, and blue whales that frequent the waters of Cabo San Lucas from December through March. An experienced onboard naturalist enhances the experience by providing commentary and answering questions. Cruise to Land's End, where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez meet, see the spectacular natural landmark The Arch, and visit a sea lion colony where playful inhabitants can be observed.

Your boat will cruise the waters in search of whales. It is quite possible that you will see dolphins and other marine life frolicking in the waters as you cruise. Once whales are spotted, your captain will maneuver the boat so that you have the best possible view and can photograph the whales without disturbing them.

From mid- to late fall, gray whales make the longest migration of any mammal. They complete a 6,000-mile journey from their summer homes in the Bering Strait to the warmer winter waters of Baja California and the Sea of Cortez. The gray whale is not the only species you may see: keep an eye out for the blue and humpback varieties as well. Spouting is usually the first thing you will spot. It is the great plume of water and spray caused by the whale's exhaling of air. If you are truly lucky, you may see a whale breaching, which is when they leap almost completely out of the water.

While we cannot put a guarantee on Mother Nature, the chances of a whale sighting are excellent.

Special Notes:

Whale watching tours are seasonal and only available between mid-December and March. A light jacket is suggested. Wear sensible shoes, a light jacket, sun protection and bring a camera.

Minimum age is 2 to participate. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver.

Child Price:
12 years & under only
